Special thanks to Cosmic Amanda for posting an article up on Haverhill Fever about the Frozen Waves skatepark that's coming soon! We first announced the skatepark 4 months ago but things never go as quick as you hope. Lease agreements, getting permits, design reviews, building the ramps... all while keeping a day job to make enough money to fund this operation take more time than expected... BUT... we're almost there! We don't have a set opening date yet but, fingers crossed, we're hoping for a soft opening in July and then a grand opening a month or so later - We'll keep you updated and anything you can do to help spred the word is appreciated!
Be sure to check out the Haver Fever site!

Back a couple months ago Frozen Waves put on a skate demo at the Pop-Up Shoppes in Manchester, New Hampshire... well we finally got around to posting a video of the event! Check it out:
Frozen Waves is opening a new indoor skatepark just across the New Hampshire border in Haverhill, Massachusetts!
We're moving into our space on Roger Rd in Haverhill just off of I495 at the beginning of March 2010! It'll take us a few weeks to get set up, get the ramps built and open for business so we don't have an exact date yet but as soon as we have more info we'll let you know!
Thanks to all who came out to help sk8, ride, move ramps, screw screws, learn to drop in, promote, take pics & film, and have a killer time... For the last couple weekends, Frozen Waves has been putting on a free indoor skate jam in Manchester, New Hampshire...
...we were at an event called Pop-Up Shoppes at teh Manchester Commons in the Shaw's Plaza @ 373 South Willow Street. We hooked up the trailer and brought as many ramps as we could handle. Check out their website Pop Up Shoppes
...not just for skaters - bikes were tearing up the place and we even had kids launching the ramps on their Razor scooters...
More than just a half pipe... for the skate jam, Frozen Waves brought out all kinds of ramps - quarter pipes, rollers, launch ramps, bank ramps, grind boxes, slant boxes...
